Hello Sunshine!
Summers when we were schoolkids seemed to go on forever. Days were long and full of nothing to do but amuse ourselves. Lately, summers are decidedly different. Now we work all day at the office, work from home, even take meetings in our car while we drive back and forth between the two. Summer vacations are usually just a long weekend. Constantly nosed into our phones, we spend every possible free second catching up on emails, social media, crazy pants news, crises and outrages. This year (an election year!) we all need one of those long, endless, unplugged summers.
Summer time, as much as it is a season, is also a feeling – a state of being. Maybe it’s just that one weekend where we spend the day at the beach, or cozied into a little cabin, even nestled into a hammock in the backyard with a great book. The joy and freedom to do whatever the heck we want with our time, out of range, quietly contemplating our navels in shorts and flip flops – that’s what our souls are yearning for. If I could spend a month on my own private little island in the middle of nowhere, that’s the dream. But surrounding myself with tiki cocktails, pool floaties, burger grilling and all the sounds and smells of summer – that keeps the dream alive, even for one solitary evening in the middle of July.

DAY AT THE BEACH - This fragrance captures the essence of a perfect day at the beach, blending invigorating notes of salty sea air with the warm, woody aroma of driftwood. Crisp marine breezes transport you to a tranquil seaside escape. But it's not just the ocean waves - there's depth and character as the unmistakable scent of driftwood emerges, infused with hints of sun-baked cedar and aged oak. The grounding element, reminiscent of weather-worn boardwalks and bonfires on the beach, make this marine breeze and sea spray scent the epitome of vacation vibes.
LEMON BALM + OLIVE WOOD – Two words for this fragrance: botanical bliss. Bright, citrusy lemon balm blends with a beautiful verdant green herbaceousness. WHITE LINEN – Crisp white linen during summer is timeless elegance, whether it’s trousers or curtains fluttering in the breeze. This sophisticated fragrance is effervescent and light with notes of sparkling citrus, sea coconut, delicate white tropical blossoms and white musk. We introduced this one as a sample scent last summer, called Soleil Blanc, and although very subtle, it’s fresh, clean, soft and beautifully appealing. Hot, sweaty days will be putting this cool, refreshing, luxurious soap on speed dial.
