March News Bits

It's a new month. Time marches ever onward, hi ho hi ho.

With a full year of lock-downs, social distancing, life upside down, how are you holding up? Here in my little corner of Northern California spring is busting out all over. Days seem noticeably longer overnight, and we're still masking up, washing our hands and keeping it clean - using some pretty new spring soaps, I might add.

All of the fresh new spring scents are in stock and ready to blossom in your shower: Chamomile Lemon, Pink Peony, and beautiful Gardenia. These will be in rotation for another couple of months and we're making more all the time, so if you catch an "out of stock" notice, just wait a week, and try again. That's true for all your regular faves too. The last few months have been busy busy and supply chains are still a headache, but we're stirring up batches as quick as we can!

Dead Sea Bath Salts are finally back in stock too and I know some of you have been waiting more than a month. The bottles were back ordered over and over until I gave up and went back to the older style from a different vendor. It's almost the same, just half an inch taller and skinnier. You won't even notice, probably. And I was able to finally snag salts too, though those were delayed at the port for over a month. It's been an interesting ride - with no way to know how or when the things I need most will suddenly not be available. French Lavender, Vanilla Bean & Honey, Almond Ginger, Rose Petal & Cardamom . . . aaaaahhhh . . . soaking in these lovely smelling, silky salts is one of life's simple pleasures.

Spring cleaning requires a little scrubbing. Did you hear that I've got the Soap Mitts back in stock too? Geez, that took awhile. Are yours a little rough around the edges? A new one is calling . . . Plus I've got fresh new piles of every color of Cotton Washcloth here too. No excuses!

Spritzing the house with aromatic sprays has been keeping me sane during the drearies. Maybe you need a lift of Lilac Garden or Jasmine Lemon to bring the brightness of spring to your rain storms? I've been needing Beach House to remind of the sea while we're dried out with another drought. And the Winter Solstice (yes, I'm keeping it handy), with it's calming forest scent, grounds me on the most stressful days. What's your must have? Sweet Dreams for a deeper night's sleep? Vanilla Bean & Honey for a cozy Sunday morning?

One more note, ta dah! - next month (April!) we'll be doing another sample/clearance soap sale. Our February blitz was so much fun with lots of great stuff to try. I wasn't able to make quite as many batches in January as I had hoped so I'm gearing up do another round. You'll want to keep your eyes peeled for that announcement in our next email.

As Mother Nature breathes new life into all our flowers and trees, I'm hoping with all my might for a summer of togetherness. Planting the seeds for a year of bigger dreams, more freedom, closer to all the people and activities we've been missing. Take the very best care of yourselves.
