It's April, which means it's SHOW TIME!

Happy April! And a big hello and welcome to Spring! Mother Nature is putting on quite the show with all the beautiful flowering trees, plump little buds just about to pop, and blossoms poking their heads up for their close up.

This month kicks off the start to my show season for 2016 with several shows coming right up. After months of hibernating and watching rain storms out the window, it's great to get back out again, travel with my new spring-scented goodies and catch up with all my friends!

First up is Best of the Northwest, April 9-10, at Hangar 30 in Magnuson Park. If you have loved this show, please don't miss this particular one. It might be the very last of its kind. The board has just announced that they are closing it down unless there is group of new members and volunteers that want to take it over. This show has been an institution in Seattle since 1989, founded by a group of artists, so we're all hoping to find a way to breathe new life into it.

The following week I'm going to be at Spring Fair at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup. It's scheduled for Apr 14-17, starting Thursday evening and going through the weekend. Find my display in the Artists in Action area, which is located in the Hobby Hall (just next to the Expo) during the spring fair.

And I'll be setting up my booth at the Tulip Festival Street Fair in Mount Vernon, which runs Friday through Sunday, Apr 15-17. My spot is in the usual location near the corner of Washington Street, the front entrance door to the Skagit Valley Co-op. Fingers crossed for great weather!

I know it feels like time flies faster and faster (or is that just me?). Heads up that next month we'll be announcing our new summer seasonal products and the rest of our summer schedule. Grab your little pile of spring goodies before the tulips have pooped out and it's time to start mowing the lawn.

Ring around the rosie, a pocket full of posies!
